AR Analyst (ACRA)


This position will be responsible for all accounts receivable functions including research of accounts to resolve invoice discrepancies/disputes. Reconcile account status to present a clear and current statement to customers.

Analyzes invoices in order to assure pricing and shipping reconciles to the vendor contracts.

Contacts customers to inquire about outstanding invoices

Makes sure that all up dates are entered into maintenance

Enters accounts receivable information into the computer and produces monthly accounts receivable statements for each account

Coordinates with sales to resolve order and billing discrepancies

Complete weekly/monthly reports to explain account balances to management

Assists in training new employees

Position Requirements

Associates degree in business or accountng required; bachelor's degree preferred

BPCS-AS400 and SAP training preferred

One year of related work experience; accounts receivable/collections experience preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills; requires the ability to communicate verbally in person and over the telephone; strong customer service skills

Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong skills in Microsoft Excel are required

Knowledge of basic accounting principles

Requires basic math skills to be able to check and balance figures

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
