Leasing Specialist
Basic Function: Responsible for origination,document preparation and closing for all new leases and leasemodifications. Ensure leases are signedand dated correctly and legally enforceable.
PrimaryDuties:
Responsible for the maintenance, service and support ofall new leases originated for the Leasing Company. Manage the workflow of the Leasing Processingarea to ensure that all loan closings are handled in a timely manner and toensure all Leases are properly documented and closed according to establishedpolicies and procedures found in the Leasing Procedures Manual.

Provides assistance to lenders and customers byoriginating, completing, collecting and reviewing documents necessary for theextension of a lease and resolving documentation exceptions.

Ensure that all documentation is correct with approvalsfrom lenders to ensure that our Leases and collateral are perfected.

Process lease applications, order credit reports andcomplete appropriate verifications. Produce closing documentation.

Obtain insurance certificates, handle UCC filings,issuance of purchase orders, etc.

Responsible for ongoing portfolio managementresponsibilities.

Handles all payment processing and Accounts Payableprocessing for all equipment entities.

Set-up of new leases in the leasing system and reportsame to the Accounting department.

Provide support to the CEO of Leasing as required tofacilitate sales.

Responsiblefor complying with the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC policies and procedures. Participate in training to ensure anunderstanding of BSA and report suspicious transactions related to lending anddeposits as appropriate to the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Officer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
