Job Description:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for developing, configuring, maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting internal and external software applications.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Collaborate with developers, programmers, and designers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications.
Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software's business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
Research, identify, analyze, and fulfill requirements of all internal and external program users.
Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications.
Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of company applications as necessary.
Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Train end users to operate new or modified programs.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Associate Degree in IT or related field required.
3 - 5 years of related experience required.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and especially JavaScript programming
Able to implement page designs in standards-compliant, dynamic HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Excellent ability to hand-code clean semantic HTML and CSS
Experience with PHP, C#, Java, HTML5, CSS3 a plus.
Site design, art, layout skills.
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Jquery).
Web services / SOAP / XML.
Knowledge of web standards, usability, and best practices.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of Linux, apache, and open-source tools used on PHP projects.
Knowledge of databases (MySQL, SQL Server).
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
DECISIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prioritizes programming projects.
Assists in creating and maintaining new software applications.
Must be able to communicate both written and verbally with all levels of employees including vendors/customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
Must be able communicate on the telephone for lengthy periods.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices.
Must be able to operate a computer and keyboard with accuracy and efficiency.
Must be able to work in both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions.
Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
